VBAC?

Are VBACs normal and common, or is it more common that after a C-section a woman would just normally have another C-section for the next baby? I know it depends on the reason for the first C-section. For my first C-section, it was because baby didn't have enough amniotic fluid, I was a few days overdue. Doctor said she had to come. Up until that my pregnancy was perfect, no complications. So I'm wondering, if the same thing doesn't happen toward the end, is there a sure chance for a vbac?
