Reverting

I have made many mistakes in life. Many of them are sins and in college I slept around then I read the Qur'an and I found it to empower women (unlike what media presents) and now I feel pure. I was raised a Muslim but lost my way and now I am back. I know it isn't related to anything about love or anything like that, but I have no one to tell this to. I'm so happy to be in America, free to practice my religion as I please. I am in the south so wearing the hijab will be scary but I am ready and excited for the future I have with God.
