Confused. Need help...

Hi. Im I'm new here me and my husband have recently married in December and we have decided to try for a baby😊 I'm nervous cause it took my mom 7 years to get pregnant but hoping we get lucky first month ttc I've been tracking my temps, opks, checking cervix, and cervical mucus I decided to do all this from the book taking charge of your fertility. I'm CD 14 and 2 dpo from the opks but the temps is saying I have not yet ovulated. So I'm confused which one is the best way to go about it. I will prob keep doing both but I'm confused
