don't feel like he is there for me

Hi! Okay idk if I'm just overly sensitive but before my period I can cry about anything and I think that's the case. Well I'm at college and don't have many friends or people who I want to see me upset. But I trust my bf.(hate crying in front of people) well I FaceTime my bf to make me feel better and it's literally like he doesn't care, and just wants to do his own thing. But god forbid he has a bad day whose is the one to cheer him up?? ME!!! I've told him to not hang up on me when I'm upset cause it just makes it worse for em. Am I wrong to think that my bf should be there for me when I'm emotional? He goes to a different college so it's not like he can come physically see me. What do you think? I trust him to cry in front of but he never understands.
