Would you invite her to your wedding?

My partner and I talk about weddings a lot and a situation came up recently.

I despise my partners brothers girlfriend. She is rude, arrogant and will scream and yell at everyone in the house for moving her belongings off the table when they want to eat, stairs when they want to go up them and lounge when they want to sit. She leaves stuff everywhere. That's just the start of what she does.

My partner can't stand her either but I recently said I will not be letting her into our apartment when it is finished construction and we move in. I said I will not be having someone I hate in my home.

This got us talking about our wedding. I said I will NOT under any circumstances be having her there. He said he'd invite her to keep the peace.

Am I being unreasonable or is this justified? It's driving me nuts arguing about it!

Maybe consider having security there. My cousins did this because of a similar situation. It might seem over the top, but hear me out lol. They allowed the crazy B to come on the condition that she behave herself and that the moment she started acting up, they'd have her thrown out of the place. Well she was all good until she saw that her boyfriend (a groomsman) was taking pictures with the wedding party, so she started opening her mouth and then security came and literally dragged her out. My cousin said she was waiting for that moment and now she can say she had her thrown out.

We tried that, but mostly because DH's brother's girlfriend wouldn't let him hang out with his own brother. It ended up with my husband's brother saying he wasn't going to be his best man or even come to the wedding if she wasn't invited. It was just easier to invite her than it was to fuel the drama. BIL's girlfriend is EXACTLY how you describe yours, btw😒 I didn't want her there either, but it was just easier if we invited her.

I also can't stand my brother in laws girlfriend, we got married last year and We didn't want her there but we were only having family to the ceremony and day so we didn't invite her and got away with it, this also meant all our professional wedding photos didn't have her in it so when they break up we don't have to look at photos forever! She did however come to the evening reception and that was embarrassing enough, other guests still comment now on how she was.

Megan follow that example, but u don't have to let her in ur new home once it's complete, because u don't want nor need that type of energy in ur sanctuary it sometimes rubs off on u and could affect ur relationship. Best of luck.😉
