help ladies

So in my past pregnancy since I found out I was pregnant every time I would have sex with my husband his penis will peel and why does that happen ? Once my daughter was born that stopped so today my husband got home and said babe I think your pregnant and he said my penis is starting to peel again also forgot to mention we have been ttc. Would anyone happen to know why that happens.
