How did you give birth?

Just polling as most of my girl friends have all had c-sections and scheduled c-sections with there seconds. We are TTC just wondering how common natural births still are? I would love to have one if its possible. Thanks All

Get on YouTube and watch the business of being born!! Changed my views from "hoping" to have all natural to completely determined. Then I found out most of my family members opted for all natural! I'm actually EXCITED about birth, I feel prepared and I know it will hurt- but instead of going into it with the thought "omg it's gonna be the worst possible pain and it'll feel like I'm dying" I'm going in thinking "it will be painful- but a pain my body is DESIGNED to use" good luck to you!!

I'd chew my leg off for a natural I have tiny babies and I don't think it would be too painful yeah it would probably hurt for a few days but it wouldn't be anything compared to c section I have had problems with the babies at later stages with all 3 of mine which had ended up with a c section I really wanted to have my 3rd natural but they wouldn't let me due to 2 previous sections :( luckily the last one healing wasn't too bad I had a good surgeon and brilliant stitches I'm going to have my tubes tied this time I don't want to but 4 sections is alot and I don't want to put myself at risk x

I got Stadol with both of my last deliveries. I had back labor really bad but still didnt want anyone messing around with my spine.

I opted for the pain killers, but ONLY because I was exhausted and desperately needing sleep ( and food, but of course I couldn't have THAT. *grumbles*). I was going on 15 and a half hours of labor and was only dilated to a 6. When I was fully dilated (which was 30 hours into labor), the pain killers were fully worn off. All in all it wasn't...what I had feared.

You dont get extra points for being tough.  Maybe you should, but you dont.  I say i was born in the twentieth century for a reason, bring on the drugs.
