I just had an appoitment at 33weeks i weighed 150 ive gained 2 pounds in one week weighed 152 at 34 weeks how much of that weight actually goes to the baby? Or does that stay on me?

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but my doctor whose been delivering babies at a very esteemed hospital for over 30 years told me that around 22lbs typically sheds between 2-4 weeks after delivery without effort. The remaining weight is what we are left with to work off... (i'm in my first pregnancy so we'll see, however I do trust my doctor very much) Hope this helps :)

Everyone is different. Some have the baby and bounce right back while others weight just sticks like peanut butter and they have to work to get it off. But for sure you will lose weight of baby plus placenta plus fluid at time of delivery.
