Baby names

Anyone waiting to see what their baby looks like before naming him or her? My bf and I have a few names that we like: Abigail, Ava, Callie. I think it's hard to choose a name before seeing her,  I do want to paint letters of her name and hang them over her crib though. I'm confused about what to do.
