Who's had iui or iutpi?

Can you share your experience? My husband will be seeing a fertility Dr at the end of the month to discuss iui treatments.. Also has anyone heard of our tried iutpi, have you tired it? Iui vs. Iutpi?

I had one iui with trigger shot that worked! I'm currently 20weeks. It was no big deal really. The procedure only took a few minutes.

I had 6 failed IUIs. First 5 with Letrozole and an ovidrel trigger, and the last with clomid/natural ovulation.

I have endometriomas (cysts from endometriosis) so my chances with the IUIs weren't great, although the doctors acted like there was hope, which was annoying.

Now I'm doing ivf!

I'm not familiar with iutpi. We did one IUI that failed. Now we are doing IVF.

I've done 3 IUI's. I think for the men, other than having to ejaculate in a cup, it's no big deal for them. For me, it causes cramping and they have a tough time threading the catheter through my cervix. And it gives me a lot of hope that our bfp is going to happen, which makes the bfn even harder to swallow. But they wouldn't offer it if it doesn't work so we just keep on trying!
