Colic?

My daughter is 4 weeks and EBF. Recently she has been more sicky (sometimes just possetting and others a LOT of sick). It's currently 5am and I've been up with her since 1:30. She will feed and then I will burp her. However within 10 mins or so she is crying and wriggling around. I swear between feeds I can get her to burp 8+ times and it still doesn't seem to help. With the burps comes sick and I can hear and feel her tummy rumbling etc. I've tried keeping her upright after a feed but that doesn't seem to help either. Is this colic?

Reflux has crossed my mind but as she isn't sick after every feed, and even when it's a lot I wouldn't always call it projectile, I don't think it can be.

Have you monitored what you are eating? I've had to eliminate dairy, tomato, gassy vegetables and sugary foods from my diet.

My son has reflux and he doesn't spit up every time he eats, just most times.. all over me, the couch, my hair.. I can't wait for this part to be over!

Sounds like gas or maybe reflux without the violent spitting up. I would definitely take her in to be seen. My daughter had gas and colic. Gas drops and tummy massages/bicycling her legs helped a lot. Try leaving her up right for 25 min after a feed and make sure you get good burps after each feed and half way between. Good luck. It is super rough. I hope you get it figured out soon.

I just saw my LC yesterday. I've been dairy
Free since October. Now I'm gluten soy and nut free. They're trying to find an allergy. Zoey did the same. It's not colic. She too was on acid reflex medicine for months. It helped. I took her off it this week. Doing the clean diet for 2 weeks.
