TMI post can your water slowly leak?

Can your water slowly leak? Today I went to the bathroom and I stood up and as I wiped my self I felt liquid leaking down my leg then when I looked down I saw mucus looking stuff in my pants. Can you water slowly leak ? And i been having  contractions but their not consistent

Friend had hers slow leak over 2 days, said it felt like she kept having to pee

Yeah it can or it can break and nothing comes out because baby's head is blocking it.

Yes it can,  but all of my pregnancies I had dribbles and discharge after peeing. It's normal and annoying.  If you're lying in bed or sitting on the sofa and it happens again then it's more likely a water leak, it should be enough to soil through your pants (discharge and general wetness is normal)  my sons head was blocking the full leak but I had to change my pants 3x that day because I'd have little  gushes when I changed positions.
