C-section Scars?

I know this is kind of super weird but hey I've read worse so I'm gonna go for it lol. Would anyone be willing to share pictures of their scars? I have a scheduled C-section for tomorrow at 2 and I'm just curious as to how they heal etc. My body has changed so much since I've been pregnant and I'm really anxious to see how I bounce back after having my son.

it's not that bad...but I agree get up and walk as soon as you can and no heavy lifting for awhile..my scar still noticable but I don't like how it looks so I won't send a pic lol

It is actually not that bad. I cant take a picture now but my scar is basically gone. I had my son via csection in 2011 though. Its isnt that big and its usually a straight thin line. A few years later I used those It Works! Wraps for awhile and the toning lotion and I actually think thats what made my scar disappear. The one thing that I do remember is that the skin around it peeled a few weeks after.. and if they put staples makes sure to get them removed within a week. It feels sooo good when they get taken out! It also minimizes the scars from the staples. And you wont have feeling in that area. After all these years that area is still numb.

I cant necessarily relate, but just wanted to say my cousin has had two c-sections and her scar is so low on her pelvic bone. We went to the beach 2 months after her second baby, and her bikini bottoms completely covered the scar. At that point it was still a little red and puffy, but now it's faded to a light pink.

I'm fat so I won't show mine...lol, but you can google it. They aren't horrible and they certainly don't make you look deformed. They are just a small scar above your pubic bone. I am extremely light skinned and the scar has faded already and you can barely see it. They look like any normal surgical scar.

I don't feel comfortable enough sharing a picture but I will say I suffer from proud flesh(aka any scar puffs up like a pastry) and I can't hardly see my scar :) as long as you take good care of the incision and you don't scar easy I wouldn't worry and even if it does leave a noticeable scar it's a badge of honor for the beautiful child you brought into the world :) Own that sucker!
