My cycles are usually 27 days long. Sometimes shorter. Today is cycle day 28. First day of missed period. Took a pregnancy test and it's negative. Super confusing. My husband said he read something that said sometimes people get negatives until days after a missed period. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Apparently a shorter cycle can impact when you would test positive. My cycle length averages 26 days. I would say wait til you're about a week late and try an early results test. Good luck.

Yes I always say wait another 3-6 weeks I used to test at the first sign of symptoms and a late day. (I've been trying to conceive for over a year) I would always get negatives then one day I got a positive I was ecstatic 2 days later I had a chemical miscarriage,part of me was happy I knew my little bean the other wished I waited longer to test so I would never have known .... wait to test ♡♡♡♡
