why do friends stop talking to you after high school?

i just don't get it.... i had a lot of friends but now i have 0 just my coworkers.... I just don't understand why after high school everyone stops talking to everyone😐.... When i see them in public they don't even look at me.. or say hi.. so i do the same , just Ignore them until they say something first i guess....

People change move on explore life they go off to college and start careers and families its get hectic i met my now husband a week after i graduated high school and moved from my moms 6 hours away to my dads to be closer to him and eventually i moved in we had our son got married and had our daughter it wasnt soon after i moved that my friendships slowly faded i still talk to a few of my friends from where i used to live but only through facebook i have different priorities being a mom than my friends that went off to college still enjoying the single kid free life

Maybe it's because a lot of things are happening in their lives, like with their family and other aspects. Also it has something to do with your communication with them and how close you used to be. I mean why would you expect someone to be used as close to you as before if the last time you talked was like a decade ago?

You're not together everyday at school, people get busy with their own life. I've got 1 friend that still talks to me and we've been friends since 3rd grade. We're now both married with kids. Haven't heard from the rest of my friends since we graduated
