(almost a) toddler tantrums

Feb '16 moms---- have any of your littlest started acting out yet? My son is pretty much always happy but when it comes to eating and taking him away from something he shouldnt be doing he definitely lets you know. He used to be such a good eater but now he's so picky! He will throw his food over the side or smash it in his hands.... If we take something away he will yell like he's pissed and hit his hands on the table or whatever Is around him I'll try to hand him another toy when he's trying to play with something he isn't supposed to be he will just throw the toy lol my question is I guess what is some ways to discipline him? He's still only 11 months so I know not everything works but I just want him to respect me. I cave a lot cause I don't wanna see him mad but I know that isn't helping anyone. Please send tips/tricks/advice 😂
