best birth control after birth???

Hey ladies I'm 11 weeks with my first and am curious to know which birth control worked best for you after you had your baby? I'm trying to prevent another pregnancy after this one as it would be too much and we couldn't financially support 2 babies. Iv only ever been on the pill but I don't trust myself in remembering to take it everyday and I need something that will be more effective.

I got the Implanon the next day after giving birth well still in the hospital lol. Now it's more effective than getting your tubes tied BUT my period is SO Fd up. I literly have about a week out of the month (scattered around not consecutively)  were I don't have my period. I literally get it whenever however etc. And full vengeance. I'm not on that and a burst of hormones to build up my uterine linininh so I don't bleed as much. But bottom line you choose which one where the pros out weigh the cons. The pill I also forgot. The depo shot made me gain weight, moody and I ended up pregnant with our first after being on it for almost 3 years. I can't get IUD implants down there because I'm prone to bacterial infections and UTIs. So this was the best option for me besides no sex lol. Like I said it's all in your opinion. Talk to your midwife or OB about it and they can tell you more info about all of them :)!

I had the mirena before pregnancy and am getting t after. It lasts 5 yrs and I loved it, got rid of my heavy periods, no hormonal roller coaster and no remembering pills

I did the depo shot, you get it every 3 months and you save money on tampons/pads because you don't get your period 👍🏼 it was VERY effective, I never had any scares with it.

It depends if you're planning on breastfeeding, regular birth control pills can mess with breast milk supply, low dose pill is a little better for breastfeeding but also less effective than the regular pill. We just withdrawal every single time, it's worked for us for 6 years,  but he has to be very precise and you have to be accepting if you accidentally get pregnant  (which we would be).
