real talk... should I shave the bush before giving birth?

I have sensitive skin and when I shave I get a ton of razor bumps, so I very rarely shave (I've probably only shaved like 15-20 times my whole life). I have blonde hairs and they don't grow in thick at all, so I don't have some crazy bush or anything lol it's just barely there. Should I shave before birth? Or leave it? Maybe just trim?

If you don't usually shave, I'd say don't shave. Whatever you're most comfortable with. There's gonna be some nastier stuff going on down there than some ladybush and the staff has seen it all! 😂

Get a wax. For the life of me I don't understand why women subject themselves to shaving - it's like medieval  torture.
I did it once and the itchiness I experienced as the hair grew back was horrific. Waxing takes it out at the root - you never feel it growing back, trying to break through the skin. Pay $60 for it because it's totally worth it!

Shave just incase u need a c section, they will shave you if u have hair. I shaved before I went to the hospital and thank god I did. I ended up with a c section and they were going to shave me.

I've got an intimate trimmer I'll be using. I don't like shaving or waxing that much but based on the tales I've heard of what comes out after, I think less hair is better

If you don't mind the bush, just leave it. The drs and nurses have seen plenty of pubic hair.

I'm not shaving. I trim it up with some scissors though so it's not all crazy. But other than that I don't care.

Do what will make you feel comfortable. I don't know anyone who has regretted not shaving. It's natural and good. But it's totally up to you. If you need to shave to feel comfortable, then by all means do it!
