Can you shorten your period ??? 😫😭

The last few months I've been hating 👿😡 my 7-8 day period 🛑. I mean like 😭😪😩! Besides the length, I also have heavy bleeding 💉💉💉 and the worst of cramps 💢💢💢 for 5-6 days out of the 7.

Any home remedies or prescriptions that will shorten my period and relieve me of this altogether?!

When I got my iud my period went down from 7 days to 4

I've been on my period for over a week and today I decided to go see a doctor about it, he gave me this medication called "medroxyprogesterone" they should shorten/stop my period for this week, I'd recommend just going to the doctors and finding out if you could have the something like what I was given
