I've always had ovulation pain.  The strange thing is that it's always on my left side. When I was going through fertility treatments back in 2008, I was feeling it (on my left side) & my doctor did an ultrasound to confirm ovulation. He said I had ovulated on the right side. He said it's not abnormal to always feel the pain on one side because each side develops follicles, regardless of which side you ovulate from. Depending on circumstances (position of ovary, etc) , I may be able to feel follicles on the left but not the right.  Anyway, do any of you ladies feel yourself ovulate?
