My daughters dr told me babies dont necessarily get constipated but one way to know is if they do poop it usually is little balls. She said is normal for babies not to poop for just about a week.  My daughter has had problems pooping since she was born, she strains too hard and actually has a fissure. Because of the fissure we had to go to the pediatric surgeon when she was 3 weeks.  They told us that its was ok to give her about 3 teaspoons of pear juice and/or gripe water. Those along with rubbing my babies belly, moving her legs like she is riding a bike, and moving get hips up and down like shes doing leg lifts  helps her

They're digestive habits change as things develop. My daughter used to poop after each meal now she only poops 1-2 times a day but it's also normal for them to go a week without going. If baby doesn't seem bothered neither should you but my doctor said to give just a little watered down apple juice and it'll clear them out. Or if you haven't already start your baby on a probiotic

Try some infant massage. You take your hand and do circles clockwise around his belly button area. Also try going in a downward motion over his belly with the sides of your hands, starting below the rib cage to below the belly button.  Alternate hands, always going downward them. It helps!
