What about FRG? They r suppose b there for spouses and all while they r away. Can family or friend come stay with you when u get close? Have u met any other spouses in ur husbands command? There's got to be someone that can help.

Are you on or near base? Family center on base is probably your best resource. What about uber or a taxi for getting to the hospital?

Does your husband's unit have a family readiness officer (or some sort of family liaison?) I would get in contact with them and they should be able to help. Maybe your husband has a friend in his unit whose wife would be willing to help? Definitely reach out!

There are lots of websites (along the lines of care.com) where you can interview, read reviews about, & hire babysitters etc. I'd get started getting at least one, if not a few, sitters vetted & to the point that you are comfortable leaving your kids ASAP. You may be able to get recommendations from neighbors with kids as well.

Make friends with some of your neighbors! I live on base as well and everyone here is so nice and have kids of their own, I'm sure someone will be more than willing to help out!
