Do you just ask your doctor to do it?

Yep. Did ours at 9 weeks. Got the results a wk later. Our doctor did it automatically. No out of pocket cost for us.

My doctor actually presented it to us. He explained that insurance wouldn't cover it, but the max out of pocket expense was $200. We did the test at 10 weeks. I'm really happy we did it.

Yes as your doctor but first Check with your insurance . If you're not in a risk category , your insurance likely won't cover it or not very much. Out of pocket the test is several thousand dollars. They have an extremely lax financial aid program tho lol. That's how I got.it done cheaply. We'd normally never qualify for financial aid but the way this one works, we easily did lol. Ask to talk to your doctor offices rep for natera
