I think the comment pisses me off, not that we pregnant women should get special treatment, but it sounds like he's a dick and doesn't treat you that great to make that comment. Imo

It's not about hurting my feelings, it's about respect and understanding that even though he doesn't know how it feels to be building and carrying a human around, he can understand it must be hard.

And I also would be really surprised if my spouse didn't WANT to do nice things, because that's usually how he is

My fiancé sucks. Planned this pregnancy and he's been a complete ass hole. I know how you feel. He thinks I can do anything just like before. Doesn't go to appointments. Doesn't ever speak of the baby. Nothing it's really sad but I keep telling myself to put up my "shield" kill it with kindness and keep going for my son. You'll be s great mother with or without him as will I be. Our babies will love us more than anyone could.

All I have to say is I like my special treatment!!
I might get it because I had a rough first pregnancy which resulted in bed rest until delivering. But, I also had all day sickness, headaches and crazy fatigue. 
Every woman is different and it's okay if you're not Superwoman while pregnant.

I don't think we should get special treatment at all.. I still do what I like and haven't changed my routine just because I'm pregnant I go out with friends get hair done nails eyelashes everything.. why should we get special treatment? Don't want to sound horrible but I wouldn't wanna sit and do f all all day & get treated like a queen every time I'm pregnant. 
My partner does what he used to do nothing has changed at all and I don't want it too, he obviously helps more with lifting heavy things but that's all. I'm on maternity leave he's working his ass off so I'd rather be at home clean cook go out! 👌🏾
