reflux in a newborn!!!

Okay so my daughter is currently on enfamil ar..my doctor said if needed I can add rice cereal as well to help her reflux. She is on medicine and without the ar and sometimes rice she projectile vomits her feedings...well sometimes after a feeding of the ar she seems fussy and my mother in law thinks she gets a tummy ache from it. So I thought well maybe I should try the enfamil gentlease and just add some rice to thicken it-because that's basically what the ar is however the gentlease will be easier on her tummy. What has anyone else done? The ar or added rice to other formulas? Thanks in advance!
