Who pays the bills in your house?

Just a poll to show the other half as I currently pay all the bills at the moments, he does what he wants with his money. Plus I buy all his stuff he needs like clothes, cigarettes all weeks and pop etc on top of everything for my son and the house

We have a joint account. I make the budget and does the actual payment. It's not really 50/50, cuz I make more, but it's all our money so it doesn't matter.

my partner bc the military pays for it lol. i get paid cash & throw it in his account but i wouldn't say 50/50 he def pays more

We both pay the bills but not 50/50, because I make more than twice as much as my DH. He pays what he can and I make up the rest. It works for us.

I'm sorry but I have to say this, do you have a partner or another child? Is there a reason your supporting him? I have to many kids I can no way support another grown adult. We both earn money in our home, and have one shared account.

He pays 80 I pay 20. I cut back at work, and use our money to pay off debts. He uses his money to pay current bills. So it works. I also do more at home than he does, which I think is fair.

He pays rent, phone and cable, I pay everything else and put more in savings/ retirement for us. He makes more, but I have more money because I save. If either of us makes bonuses we get to spend that on anything we want.

I'm a stay at home mom with a 15 month old and a 4 year old another on the way. I'm also full time in school. So my hubby pays for everything.

I have savings and a part time job, while he has a full time job. He contributes more because he makes more and I'm a grad student.
