so my teacher told us we have an exam next week... but i get confused.. is it just like a test??? lol sorry.. i'm stupid😐and slow lol

My bf says that exams are tests and tests are quizzes in college. I don't understand it either 😂

Quizzes are short, like one topic. Tests are one step above that, like several related topics. And exams are harder and longer and contain lots of different topics.

Exams tend to be longer and cover more than one topic and chapter. However, some professors might use the term interchangeably so I just ask how many questions there are and how many chapters to figure it out.

Tests are based on one part of a subject. For example you could have a multiplication test. But exams cover the entire subject. So if you have a math exam, you'll be doing all types of math, multiplication, division, fractions, basically everything you've learned so far in the subject that year
