Initials as first name?!

This is my fiance and I's first son together! He is set on the name K.R. Moore. His favorite uncle's name is LB literally just the initials...i know a lot of people probably are going to think its stupid but if it has meaning to him then should i just go ahead with it? I just don't wanna have to explain it to people or them say if K.R doesn't stand for anything why would we name our son that? I'm so confused on what to do. Or does anyone have any K names that are unique they can give me?!

Were naming our son Kenneth Andrew Jr and calling him KJ... just initials would be odd... but to each his own

You could just give him a first and middle name that start with K and R and then just refer to him as KR.

I mean, it's safe to say you (& eventually your kid) are going to get a lot of questions about it, so if that'd annoy you, you may want to reconsider. Is there any downside to having a first & middle name that K.R. would be short for??

My father's name is R.B. He has always had problems with people when trying to apply for jobs or just doing paperwork. I would suggest giving your son names with the initials and then just using the initials as a nickname. In the long run he will thank you for not having to have people question him his whole life.
