What do you do when you need to pee while in labor?

Just curious..... I don't have an experience giving birth since I'm a first time mother. But what if you need to go as you're pushing the baby out of your vagina? There's got to be a way. Experienced mamas, please clarify.

Honestly when my contractions started to get more intense I never felt the need to pee, just the pain, alot of people just pee while pushing and don't know, even poop and don't know. Nothing doctors haven't seen. During light contractions I would just get up and use the bathroom

I felt NONE of my contractions didn't know I was in labor I just had to pee every 10 seconds due to the pressure and... nurse got super annoying and didn't want me to deliver in the toilet... so she suggested get a cath put in to help yeah it worked I felt great had him 11 minutes later

But hurt to pee after..:(

If your going with no epidural you can get up to pee whenever. When contractions start,  you won't have any feelings of needing to pee.

With my second I was pushing and the doctor said "she's peeing on her" while my daughter was nearly out. I still don't know just who peed on who, but I'm pretty sure they were talking about me lmao. I didn't feel anything except the pain from pushing out a baby. Chances are if you end up peeing they'll just clean it up and carry on.

If you pee during pushing you won't know. There's a bathroom in your delivery room for if you have to go during labor.

I had a catheter that I believe they took out before I started pushing if I remember correctly. I also had an epidural so I couldn't walk. Not sure if they give you one when you have a natural birth.

I never felt the need to pee. I did tell the nurse I felt like I had to poop and she was like Uhhh that's the baby and it's coming out! Haha.

Before my epidural I was encouraged to not forget to go pee (it was a long labour) but peeing hurt so bad from the pressure, I hated it. I ended up with an epidural and a catheter (and later a c-section)  the only issue I had with the catheter was after it was taken out it was like trying to pee out a torrential waterfall lol.
