need tips.

Please do not suggest castor oil, that is the only thing I'm totally against using. I'm 2-3cm dilated, my cervix is still thick (not so sure what that means), and I'm looking for tips to help speed up labor. I'm 40wks today. ☺️  No contractions so far. I've been walking up and down my stairwell all day...
