mid cycle cramps?

Wonder if anyone has any advice I'm mid cycle about two weeks from starting my period. Glow is pridicting I'm ovulating around about now but the last couple of days I've been getting period type cramps. This lasts roughly half an hour then goes. I've looked online and it says it could be the egg releasing showing a sign of me ovulating. Has this ever happened to anyone before? I would be greatful for any advice. Thanks ladies! :)
