Lower back pain and infertility?

Ive been having horrible lower back pain. Its to the point where i cant even walk or run anymore without arching my back in pain. Its more of a stabbing/tight sensation. Ive heard stories online about women that are ttc and that had lower back pain issues, and once they cured it, they conceived within <6 months.  Ive also heard that acupuncture helps with infertility and lower back pain, Has anyone heard of this or has been though the same thing? Did anyone have experiences with back pain and infertility?  Any replies will be helpful.

Two Octobers ago I started to get pain in my back, at the base of my spine, that made it hard to bend at first. I had to take a day off work but also chaperone a field trip for the club I run that was 2 hours from home in DC. I went and had to call off work again the next day as I came home that night and couldn't get my legs to move. My back hurt so bad, even after the doctor prescribed me steroids, that I couldn't roll over in bed and it took me about five minutes to get myself out of bed. I went through X-rays, pain pills, and even 6 weeks of physical therapy where they did tens, massage, and exercise. I then had good and bad days. Finally, I got a new doctor and she said everything around my lower back was inflamed. I was given a prednisone shot and it worked like magic. I was on a heavier steroid and it eventually went away completely. Around this time my periods would have one or two days where I had horrible clotting and excruciating pain around my uterus and ovaries. I wouldn't even call it cramps, just pain. We decided to get pregnant last January. By April I had to go to the doctor because I hadn't seen and gynecologist in a couple years and I couldn't take the period pain anymore. He brought up Endo and suggested surgery but I didn't want to do it. In July, pain got worse and he prescribed Clomid. It didn't work as I already was ovulating so he talked me into a lap in November. I had it done, Endo was found around my uterus, cervix, rectal area, and slightly in my back. I have no proof my back problem was Endo but they never figured out another reason for it. I'm not overweight, I'm a teacher, and I work out often. It wasn't a pulled muscle. Anyway, I got pregnant the next full cycle after the lap and am now 7 weeks. Sorry this is so long but I thought my story might be helpful.
