My 3 old month got prescribed with this, but I'm scared that he will get thrush after taking it😒 has anyone's baby has giving this type of antibiotic before ?

It's fine. If he gets thrush, they'll give you a gel to use.
I assume this is to treat an infection. You don't want to have an infection spread at that age so he needs the antibiotics.

I've taken it before with no problem but then again some people are just more prone to yeast infections. Have him eat yogurt everyday while he's on it and maybe that will help prevent it.

it's a broad-spectrum antibiotic meaning it kills lots of different types of bacteria. it's works well against strong and persistent bacteria. you should def give it right away if it was prescribed.

10 days sounds right but you can always consult the doctor and pharmacist about your concerns.

We've been on antibiotics for 10 days at least once a month the last 4 months and no thrush.

Risk of continued infection though is far too great.  Make sure he starts his meds ASAP

Ask about giving your baby some probiotics while they're taking the antibiotic, they'll definitely help prevent thrush. You most definitely don't want to leave a urinary tract infection untreated at that age.

Cephalexin is a common antibiotic. Babies can get thrush from any antibiotic. My son got it one time from a common amoxicillin medicine. It's just going to depend on the baby. Thrush is an easy fix, and he was over it quickly.

Kiddo can get thrush regardless but my daughter's had it before
