Hair loss after baby?

Does anyone else's hair seem to be falling out after they had their baby? Mine seems to be falling out like crazy. I know it's probably just hormones but it's making me sad seeing it fall out every time I brush, wash, or run my fingers through it. I normally have really thick hair but can see/feel the difference. I'm 3.5 months postpartum and hoping the hair loss stops soon.

I've considered shaving my head, it's been so bad! It's starting to taper off now at 5 months pp, but I have a lot of hair and it's extremely annoying!

Around 6 months pp my hair finally stopped falling out!

Haha yes seriously it's brutal. This never happened to me after my first. This time I loose it in clumps but it's so long and thick that I don't really care. I just hate having to clean up strands of hair all over the house/on my pillow case 😂😆

I'm 4 months PP and handfuls come out as I brush and wash my hair. It's definitely annoying. My hair is so long and gets everywhere and ends up all over my son. I can't wait for it to stop.

Yup my partner had to unclog the tub just from my hair... falls out in chunks when showering and brushing it

My son is 4months old now and all my hair seems to be falling out too! It's totally normal because hormones are going back down to normal level. Did you happen to get a lot more hair during pregnancy? Like shave legs one day and two days later it's back?

Yup it is very normal but a huge pain. I told my hubby it's a good thing I had very thick hair otherwise I woukd be bald by now... It annoys me so much. Not sure how long it lasts though! Nearly 3 months pp myself
