I'm at my wits end..

I have a 9 month old and I'm just about at my wits end with this.. I can't handle it anymore.. I've been trying to give him a bottle since he was 4 months old. Since I was a stay at home mom I never needed to really force the bottle... he's now 9 months and I just got a job. My husband is watching him during the day and he is still refusing the bottle. It's been 6 days now and  I've tried for the last 2 days to give him the bottle and he fusses..
Since he is on solids does he need to have milk all day or can he survive just on solids and some water while I'm gone 8 hours ? I seriously don't know what else to do.
Of course I do not want to starve my baby and I feel so bad for him, I wish he would just take the bottle so he can be so much happier, both of us. 😰😰😰

Have you tried a sippy cup or a regular cups. My 9 year old would not take a bottle when she was a baby. We just let her drink breast milk and juice out of a sippy cup. We would take the valve out so she did not have to suck to get the liquid out.

He should be fine with solids during the day and water and bf when you get home. He should make up for it. What I would do is make homemade baby food and add breastmilk

I was too. But it was worth the money. And I believe the bottle fits most wide neck nipples

I've heard about those! But I'm so scared I'm gonna waste the money on it. My son literally has tried 12 bottles.

Maybe try a new bottle? My daughter refused all of the expensive brands, and only took to the cheap gerber/parents' choice nipples. While at day care (she went to two different places) she would go on a hunger strike the first day, then drank from the bottle well the following days. They would always comfort me that baby will eat when they need to.

Have you Tried offering milk in a cup while you're at work then?

He has a sippy cup but doesn't seem to like that with milk, however he'll drink water here and there from it.

Do you think maybe a sippy cup might help? Sometimes a sippy cup is just different enough to get them to drink it.

Are you the only one offering him a bottle? I'd say have dad try and you walk away or leave. Baby knows you have the goods and is being shortchanged for a bottle. Might help if someone else did it.
