We've had our 10 yro Australian Cattle Dog Sadie for 4 months, and we adopted her from a rescue. She is, and was, medicated when we got her. She has bit me, my husband, 5 other people, and 3 other dogs since then. We rescued a 5 yro beagle named Roscoe over a week ago, and she is getting increasingly more aggressive towards him. I was just woken up (it is 2:30 am) to the sound of his squeals and her viciously attacking him outside of my door. This is the third night in a row this has happened, however she did not do this the nights before 3 days ago when my husband and I went to bed. The new beagle is a saint with people and other animals, but he has figured out that he should avoid her. She will actually run and attack him when he is just sitting on the floor, for no apparent reason. I am at a loss, because I love them both. I suppose it is poor training, lack of discipline, and ineffective handling of the situation on my part because thus far everything I have done has made it worse. I've read most of the articles on google, and have applied most of the methods (however it normally ends up with her biting me). I'm very tired, I did not rescue cujo, however that is what she's becoming. Btw, my husband is military and I am alone with the dogs the majority of the time. I would like to ensure he does not come home to his wife and Roscoe's corpse on the ground being nibbled on by satan (Sadie). What can I do to fix her behavior without getting attacked? Last time she latched on to my finger and tore it open 😧. She is currently sleeping in the bathroom with her food and water because I do not kennel the dogs, and that was the next best thing I could do. HELP 😢😭
