Pain around ovary

So my husband and I have been TTC for a few months now. This month I began using fertility tests for the first time. Based on the test, I would have ovulated about 10 days ago. On Friday I began experiencing some discomfort in my left, lower abdomen. It's intermittent and kind of a pinching/ aching feeling. It has now been going on for about three days off and on. I'm probably a bit paranoid because I have not been pregnant before and have really been hoping, but I'm worried that something could be wrong. Has anyone else experienced this type of pain? If so, what was it? I called the doctor's office on Friday and they seemed to be unconcerned.
