Breastmilk?

If I warmed some breast milk & my son left 2 oz can I put it back in the fridge or do i have to toss it?

When we were in the NICU they told us you can leave it at room temperature for a couple hours if you have to it doesn't hurt the milk but you can't put it back in the fridge once you warm it

You can still use it within the hour but after that have to toss it.  That is why I never let my fiancé do more than three oz in a bottle and if she is still hungry only one additional ounce at a time.  It is just heartbreaking to have to waste it

Breast milk can be left out for 4-6hrs so if it's passed that time frame than I would toss it
