First Kiss Help?

So I just had my first kiss on Saturday night. It did not go well. I've always thought that it would be this amazing thing and I would remember it forever, now I just want to forget all about it. He kissed me and I just laid there. I didn't do anything back. I just froze up and laid there. I feel horrible about it, cause he was putting in so much effort and I didn't do anything back. Any tips/advice?

First anything is overrated. It happenes, just keep trying until your comfortable or don't try it until you are comfortable. He should be understandable.

My bf and I were watching tv when our first kiss happened. We kept pulling apart. So a couple of tv was making out and I go kiss me like that. It was a condom commercial I was so embarasses we laugh about it now. Honestly it's the first kiss it's special it's never the best.

My husband was my 2nd bf, we dated when we were 14 and 15. He was such a horrible kisser 😂 but I was pretty novice too so I just went with it. he used far too much tongue and by far, I mean he was trying to shove it as far as he could in my mouth with hardly a break for air or swallowing. We dated for 8 months, it never got better but it didn't stop me from liking him. 13 years later, we reconnected and started dating again. When he leaned in for that 1st(adult) kiss, all I was thinking is "omg please don't shove your tongue down my throat, please please please". He didn't. Best kiss ever. It takes time to learn but if you guys like each other, it shouldn't be a deal breaker. Just try and let him lead and go with it until you're more comfortable
