nexplanon removal

So I'm slightly stressing out about getting pregnant. They mentioned that if I had sex before the removal, I could still get pregnant. Which I did, the day before. I then did that same night after it was removed. I would not mind if I was pregnant, I'm looking to in the near future. But wasn't planning on it happening this way. I'm just confused on how I can still get pregnant, would I ovulate right after removal?
