And no, it's not because I'm single or a romance hating bitch.

But I absolutely cannot stand Valentine's Day. I've never liked it, even when I was a child.

I guess part of it is because I hate romance. The whole dinner, movie, walk on the beach...oh how my skin crawls thinking of that. I'm more of the drive around listen to music, grab some McDonald's or whatever and go home and lay on the couch while we watch a dumb movie that we probably won't pay attention to anyway.

And yet despite all of that, my husband has bought me something the past 5 years that we've been together. Knowing how much I hate Valentine's Day.

And yet every year when be brings home something, I can't help but smile and appreciate it because he got it for me.

He came home with this last night.
