Pet Peeve-addressing women as "Girls"
I get annoyed when I open an email, text etc and the writer starts off with "Hey Ladies!" or "Hey girls!"
Why do we feel the need (as a society) to point out that all the recipients of our text are women? Men don't start off their group texts with "Hey Gentlemen/Boys".
It just seems strange to me, lol. Is this a pet peeve of anyone else?
