old wives' tales

Hi everyone! I'm 9 weeks pregnant with my third baby....I have a 5 year girl and a 4 year old little boy. My fiancé is not the biological father of these two but he has been there for them since 2&3, so this is my first baby with him, he has a little girl as well. I'm just curious of any old wives' tales that you may know about gender reveling...I'm just curious what other ppl believe or think or bring with them. I welcome any religions and customs too,  I enjoy learning about new cultures!
