I'm sorry but I disagree I cheated on my partner recently and he is my world I love him with everything and more he is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. He knows I cheated and we are dealing with it we have been together for 7yrs and I know your all gunna hate but tbh I don't care but you can love someone and stupidly cheat on them.

It's honestly not always so black and white. You can love someone and still have an area of your relationship where your needs aren't being met and everything just snowballs. You can make a mistake and still love the person you cheated on. Love doesn't just go away because you: your partner strayed. Lets be realistic here, it takes time for love to grow and it takes time for love to "go". Is cheating acceptable behavior? No. Plain and simple, not okay! It needs to be addressed whether you stay or go, and either way it needs to be communicated to the person who cheated that the person that was cheated on will not be disrespected and betrayed. Then choose what to do from there. Making the decision to try and work it out is by far not the easiest decision either, but when the partner that cheated shows genuine remorse and can come clean about every aspect of the cheating and wants to work it out, that's a fairly good indication that love is there. *There is an exception to every rule, some cheaters will carry on relationships with someone they don't love and be "serial cheaters" simply because they get a thrill out of the act of cheating or just need to have someone around that tolerates it or remains unaware so they will have someone available to meet some of their needs in the  relationship, such as, taking care of children, maintaining the household, providing financial support, also, divorce can be expensive. All the while carrying on an affair or, rotating multiple partners outside of the main relationship to meet sexual, emotional, financial needs. There are cheaters that do this as well. So, like I said, its not always so black and white. Many aspects need to be considered when asking the question this thread is asking and it's really more of a "case by case" question, in my opinion.
