Does your OB/GYN care if you're shaved?

I have my first appointment today and haven't been feeling the best, I haven't been able to "prepare" for my appointment, does the OB/GYN normally care if you're super hairy or not?

They don't care but hubby has clippers with an attachment that can trim it down to 1/4", it takes 2 minutes and I feel a lot cleaner before my obgyn appointments and in between wax appointments. Maybe you can try that if you're not in the mood to shave or wax.

The first time I saw my OB I was 5 weeks pregnant and actively having a miscarriage so there was blood freggin everywhere! I felt disgusted but he's seen many bloody vaginas but it still doesn't make it easier. A little hair never hurt anyone 👌

if they do then you have the wrong doc...I've been sick for 5wks to tired and everything didn't feel like shaving and my midwife said nothing even tho I felt embarrassed lol

Nope I don't think they do. Honestly hair doesn't matter, you might literally poop in front of everyone..., who cares about hair down there.. lol..

However many ob nurses that I work with have told me to ask about the "olive oil trick" to prevent tearing. I heard you should start about 2 weeks before ur due date.

I'm sure they seen it all but my midwife only seen my private area 2 times first was my first app just to check was my cervix closed and my second was at my 22 weeks ultrasound also to check my cervix they don't usually seen your lady parts that often
