when will I get my period again?

I just had a baby about six weeks ago and was wondering when I should get my period next? I've stopped postpartum bleeding and am healed up now. What do I expect now?

It just depends. I exclusively breast feed and got mine back at 6 weeks pp. After 2 weeks of bleeding and 4 of no bleeding i was positive it was my period.

Thank you! I both breastfeed and supplement with formula. I do plan to breastfeed until she is six months.

It depends on if you are breastfeeding or not. If you are then your period could take months to start back up. When i stopped breast feedng mine came back within the month but im sure its different for every women. Sorry hope that helps some
