Umbical cord....

My son is 5 days old and his umbilical cord piece is starting to fall off and its still so raw underneath. He will start screaming til hes almost in tears and i try to comfort him but he keeps crying. Ill change his diaper when he cries and i can see the piece of cord moved out of place and it seems to hurt him so bad. I dont touch the cord i only gently clean it with an alcohol pad which he doesnt mind. I hate seeing him in pain 😢🤒
