Am I the only traditional woman out there?!
Women in the workplace has become the new normal. As for myself, I am in college and intend to eventually get a job after graduation. (Obviously haha) But here's the thing.. I'm in college because it was just kind of a thing that was always expected of me (having parents who always expected me to go without question). And also because I could NOT work a typical high school job the rest of my life. So I'm in college and I do well! But when I think about my future it's just bleak. When I think about my future working a professional job, nothing excites me ya know? But when I think about a future that really excites me its when I finally settle down, get married and have kids. My mom has always been a stay-at-home mom, so maybe that's why? Anyways, the idea of working stresses me out. And it's not that I'm lazy either, haha, I just really don't like the idea of having expectations and a regimented work schedule for the rest of my life. I would be perfectly fine being a homemaker for my husband and children. No job, just really invested into being the best, most involved mother and wife. Have a lot of kids and cook, sew, and stay at home. The majority of you are probably laughing at how old fashioned I am, but like, I'm not kidding. Am I the only one? Or?
