How do you feel about your bf going out?

My bf is planning on going out to a dinner party thing with guys from his work and he didn't ask me to come... I wouldn't want to tho honestly I hate social get togethers with ppl I don't know. Anyways I feel really nervous about it. I trust my bf but he is a natural flirt and I'm nervous he's going to meet a girl there and I would have no knowledge of it. I almost want to tell him he can't go. I know everyones relationships are different and we all have different opinions of what we are ok and not ok with so no rudeness :)

Would it be appropriate for him to say you're not allowed to see your friends or spend time with them away from him? Of course not. It's very controlling. If you can't trust him when you're not around him than that's the issue you have to deal with, not him going out with his friends. Having lives of your own is healthy. It's too bad if you take this as rude, because I'm really just trying to help you.

I think it's kind of ridiculous if you can't handle your significant other going out with their friends. How does your relationship function with such little trust? "Oh sorry honey you can't go to the grocery store without me because you might end up fucking the cashier." Seriously let him go and relax. If he cheats, then he isn't worth your time anyway.

I'm an anxious person regardless of what's going on, so I'd be worried either way. I wouldn't tell him he couldn't go but I'd just ask him to be responsible and not do anything stupid to keep my mind at ease.

I get really uncomfortable when mine goes out. And I sit and worry. Not because I don't trust him, I'm just a very anxious person and he doesn't pay attention to his surroundings as well as I do. 🙄🙄

I'm fine with my guy going out with other guys. Of course he needs his bro time! It's healthy and good...but if he's staying out late and there are ladies there who I down know or don't like, it's a different story!

My bf goes to the bar with his college buddies at least twice a month. I understand that I'm not his entire life, but just as much as I need time to hang out with my friends, he needs his.

I let him be cause yunno I can't control him but then again I get lowkey salty like hey he can go out with me or something , he invites me to go out with his friends or whatever but I'm usually quiet because I feel kinda uncomfortable lol but yeah I let him go out and have fun , but in a relationship fun lol
