Your first time having sex?

I just lost my virginity on Valentine's Day.. it was actually a good time to be my first... but I'm nervous. We only used a condom and I'm hoping that it saved me from the "scare moment" my question is. What did you use your first time? And were you on the pill? And should I really be scared? 🤔 😩
